A program for the draft of isometries and tubing plans in the dialogue

Used to generate isometric drawings based upon pipe classes. Output of volumetric 3D representations and parts lists with documentation of components used. Automatic linking of component isometric drawings with that of an entire train of pipes. Transfer of the geometry for stress calculation with program EASYPIPE and to any CAD program in the form of a DXF file. Add-on module ISOLATION.

EASYPLOT can represent isometric drawings to scale, deformed or in 3D. The view can be changed at any time, and horizontal projection and elevation shown to scale. EASYPLOT has access to a pipe component catalogue. It can be created and modified by the user. Pipe classes are generated by the user by clicking on the pipe component in the catalogue and inputting the selection code. Alternative pipe components can be assigned to a pipe class by means of different selection codes.
The pipe classes can be allocated to casing pipe or secondary pipes. Casing pipe or secondary pipes can be generated for the entire isometric drawing or parts of the isometric drawing by a command. The parts lists is automatically updated to include these additional components. Parts lists and order lists are generated, printed and stored in a dBase database. Material summaries can be produced for individual isometric drawings or an entire project. Order lists can be generated. The program also permits subsequent changing of the order requirements and can generate order modification lists. Assembly costs can also be calculated. The necessary pipe bend data is output and the required bending direction determined.
EASYPLOT is capable of automatically assembling individual isometric drawings to create overall isometric drawings. This is necessary if small manufacturing isometric drawings have been generated, but a stress calculation is needed for the whole system, which must be blanked off at fixed points. The same applies for pressure loss calculations. A piping list is generated for each project. This is also stored in a dBase database. It contains all the header data for all isometric drawings. The user can print out piping lists in different forms. The information stored in the databases (piping lists or order requirements) can be effortlessly exported to spreadsheet programs like Excel for further processing. EASYPLOT provides the isometric data for subsequent use in CAD programs in a DXF file. EASYPLOT can also be used to input data for the drag reduction program PIPE NETWORK, the ISOLATION program used to optimise the necessary insulation and  EASYPIPE  for the calculation of stresses and bearing reactions.

The parts lists are exported to other programs such as material economics or calculation of deformations and loading of the piping system ( EASYPIPE ) in an ASCII file and dBase database.

It is easy to make changes to an isometric drawing that has been input, for example by changing the pipe class and nominal diameter, shifting the piping route or exchanging components of different lengths.

EASYPLOT is easy to learn. The user is guided by questions during processing. New users can generate and process isometric drawings after a single day.

The attached illustration shows the isometric drawing of a partially jacket-heated pipeline with parts list. A calculation model for EASYPIPE has been generated for the calculation of stresses from this isometric drawing.
